There is a new expansion for Atari’s Portfolio that combines several otherwise separate expansions. Like other expansions, APF-MaXed plugs into the right side of the pocket computer.
The black case contains a slot for CompactFlash cards, which offer greater capacity than the Portfolio’s standard memory cards and are more practical for data exchange with “large” PCs. A 32MB CompactFlash card is included. The device also features a 512KB memory expansion and an internal 128KB read-only drive containing drivers, utilities, and games.
Price for APF-MaXed: 99 euros plus shipping.
