The Computer Magazine Archive – better known as STCArchiv – has been comprehensively revised and now presents the familiar content with a more modern look.
The magazine collects articles from various Atari magazines (ST-Computer, ST-Magazin, TOS, Atari Inside, ATARImagazin) and multi-format magazines (Computer Kontakt, Happy Computer) in HTML format. In addition, there are digital magazines such as ATOS and Atari Times.
Navigation within the archive has been improved in particular, with links to the different years and individual issues. The entire site is now optimised for mobile browsers and also supports the increasingly popular ‘dark mode’. The only exception is ATOS, where the former ATOS archive continues to be displayed. The ATOS archive can also be accessed directly at atos.stcarchiv.de.
The technical overhaul of the archive – which also involves many changes in the background – is intended to ensure the maintainability and upkeep of the website for the coming years.
